Art nouveau

From researching the art movement of  ’Art Nouveau’,  I came accross an amazing illustrator –  ‘Echo Chernik’ who creates some amazing pin-up style ,art nouveau pieces used particularly in packaging and advertising. What I love about her work is that she shoots real models to bring the concepts to life and from this creates really surreal fantasy- style pieces. Her work has realy inspired me to create some vector portraits starting out with traditional drawing in one of my future projects!

Motivation

I really can’t seem to get the ‘get up & go’ that is needed to get some work done! The snow is still here, and top of that I don’t feel great (still in bed) AND I have a ton of work to do. Feeling extremely uninspired by my own projects but getting very distracted by some amazing work. Although I realise that me being tired has a lot to do with staying up to edit Sophie’s photographs and this leading me to looking at Tim Walker all night!
